What we do

Providing dental care for families in our community

Preventive Dentistry

The old saying “Prevention is better than cure” is so so true! Having a half yearly dental check-up is a simple step to ensure the health of your teeth and gums. The following are some of the ways we can prevent dental disease:

  • Fissure sealants
  • Scaling and polishing
  • X-rays to detect disease that can’t be seen with the naked eye
Tooth Fillings

If you haven’t been brushing and flossing properly, or you’ve been eating too much gulab jamin, then cavities/holes will form in your teeth.

If we can catch the hole early while it is still small, we can usually fix the tooth with a filling. That is why we recommend coming in for regular check-ups and taking x-rays.

Wisdom Tooth Removal

Everyone dreads this procedure, but sometimes it just has to be done. We have plenty of experience with this procedure and we will do our best to put your fears at ease.

Kids Dentistry

Proper care for your teeth needs to be learned at an early age. Make sure to bring them in when they have their full set of baby teeth (usually between 2-3 yrs old) just so we can have a look and make sure everything is growing and being taken care of properly.

Your little ones will enjoy their dental trips with the friendly doctor and staff here while they are taught to maintain a healthy smile.

Crowns and Bridges

Also known as a cap, a crown is like a helmet for a tooth that protects it from breaking.

The most common reasons why a tooth needs a crown are:

  • After a root canal treatment
  • There is a fracture in the tooth due to wear and tear
  • The tooth has a history of large and/or multiple fillings and is now very weak
Braces

Feeling conscious about your irregular teeth and not biting correctly? You are never too old for braces. We can realign your crooked teeth to help you achieve a straighter smile.

Teeth Whitening

No one likes to have dark yellow teeth, but over time they will naturally become this way. We provide both in-office and take home teeth whitening to rejuvenate your smile.

Gum treatment

Your gums and jaw bones form the foundation for your teeth. Gum disease attacks this foundation, and just like a house, if the foundation is poor, it will fall, not to mention the foul breath that comes with it. Bleeding gums is the first sign of gum disease so remember to floss properly and regularly to prevent this.

Tooth replacement

Obviously, no one likes to walk around “bo gae”. But another equally important reason to replace missing teeth is to restore the balance of your mouth so other teeth do not break down.

This can be done with:

  • Removable dentures
  • Bridges
  • Implants

Root canal treatment

This is another procedure that everyone dreads but sometimes has to be done in order to save the tooth. The key is not to let it get to this stage in the first place! So come in for your regular check-ups and x-rays.
